The reality is that there is still a significant stigma in our culture surrounding addictions and mental health in general. While we recognize the work that is being done to reduce this stigma, we also acknowledge there is still significant work that needs to be done in order for individual's and their loved ones not to be discriminated against based on their addiction(s) history.

Living Well's mission is to advocate strongly against, and reduce the stigma against addictions. We are committed to working with individuals in an inclusive way so as not to perpetuate or place an individual at risk of experiencing the cultural stigmatization.

All services are confidential. While this seems like it is true across the sector, there are some important confidentiality differences to be aware of.  Since this centre is not associated with outside funding, or a publicly funded practice, individuals who access services through this centre do not have their records linked to public health records. This means that there is added discretion and confidentiality for all those receiving services.

Individuals, families, and friends can all access a variety of discrete and helpful services through us. We offer individual, couples and family counselling, as well as addictions related family workshops.

*We are committed to providing a safe and confidential space to comfortably explore yourself and your circumstances in order to increase your well-being and ability to live well!*

Establishing a new and healthy life free from the battle of mental health and addictions is possible!
